Since 1992, CEP-Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova has supported over 300 Visiting Faculty Fellows (VFFs – formerly Visiting Lecturers) and Local Faculty Fellows (LFFs – formerly Eastern Scholars) and taught over 15,000 students from across the three countries. The program’s Fellows and alumni present a great diversity of academic and cultural backgrounds, with affiliations to institutions around the world. In the 2002-03 academic year, CEP is supporting 10 VFFs, 22 LFFs, and 18 SCOUT Fellows in this region. These strong fellowship programs and outreach activities directly assist in the region's political, economic, and social development.
